Google Hackathon: NashHack
This was my first hackathon and when I fell in love with building dope products. Some of the most challenging, yet rewarding hours of my life took place right here. This is where it all started.
1st Place
Challenge
The mental health of the next generation is at risk, with rising rates of stress, anxiety, and disconnection. In under 24 hours, our challenge was to design and prototype a scalable, user-centered digital solution that could address this crisis with practical, real-world impact.
Solution
We developed a functional prototype for a mobile suite of interconnected tools that included direct, on-demand access to trained mental health professionals, a stress-free alarm system designed to ease daily routines without anxiety triggers, and a quick-access communication channel for immediate help and crisis intervention. Built in a single day, the solution prioritized accessibility, intuitive design, and rapid deployment potential.
Outcome
Our product earned 1st place for its working code, feasibility, and breadth of features, and it was recognized as a model for how technology can be rapidly developed to address urgent mental health needs.
